Jackson at the Library

"Oh, there it is, there's the one I was looking for."
Jackson loves to go to the library on Maine Street, which is really close to our house, and play with their toys, they have lots of cool toys that we don't have at home. Today we were there with his friend Catherine (in the background) she is 16 months old and lives a couple of doors down from us. They get along famously!!
Jackson is quite fond of the HUGE teddybear that sits and reads in the library. He likes to attack him and interrupt his reading.
Sooooo... much personality in this kiddo, let me tell ya!!
"I'll check out this one, and this one too...."

Pancake Party

"If you give a kid a pancake...."
"He'll start to tear it up...."
"And before you know it.....pancake confetti....wooh hooh!"

Band Auditions

Daddy is trying to teach Jackson to keep a beat.

We may have a little drummer boy on our hands.

See, I can sing too!

This one is just my size.

We've Discovered the Toilet

"Wow, look, I've found something to put down in the hole."

"Oh no, I'm out of toilet paper!"
"Okay, so I can put this in the toilet and it will go round and round and then go down the hole"

It looks like his fingers are touching the water, but they aren't I promise...but they are close, and the toilet is clean, I can assure you.

Doesn't this face look like he's figured out something bad he can do?

A Fun-filled Saturday for the Family

Mommy, Daddy and Jackson enjoy a "lobstah-feast" given by the squadron at a local park....the "lobstah" is at peak season right now and is the cheapest it is all year long!

Earlier in the day before going to the Farmer's Market or the Squadron picnic the boys catch up on some sleep.
Every Saturday morning right down the road from our house all the local farmers take part in the Farmer's Market, it is the BEST one I have ever been to! We are talking the nicest fruits (especially wild Maine blueberries) and veggies, baked breads, honey, Maine maple syrup, cheeses (the goat is my favorite) beautiful flowers and plants to put in your garden, smoked meats and of course the Lobster Ladies are there with their catch from the morning, you can buy a couple of very fresh, live lobsters and take them home and cook for dinner. In addition to all the yummy foods and other stuff, some of them bring their animals. This particular Saturday Jackson got to see sheep and alpacas (picture). These two are just babies and Jackson really liked them, several times their faces were quite close to his....maybe a little too close, but it was fun. A visit to the market early in the morning is a great start to your Saturday, and this Saturday the temperature was about 65 degrees, gorgeous day!

My Best Friend's Wedding...not the movie

The girlies are all dressed and ready to go...too much excitement to contain
The new Mr. and Mrs. Ramiah Martin...they are just too cute!
Before heading down the aisle
It was a real honor to be the Matron of Honor at your wedding Bee...I am so happy for you. The whole day was wonderful, it was a very intimate and beautiful ceremony and just a lovely reception that followed.
The blushing bride to be, the wedding was only moments away, Beth totally calm and collected, as usual!

Family Trip to Canada

On our way home to Indiana on Josh's leave after deployment, we decided to make a "pit-stop" in Canada to see Niagara Falls.

Jackson was the littlest person to take the "Tour Behind the Falls" they didn't have a poncho to fit him so we had to just ball him up as best we could to keep him from getting wet.

Always such a happy boy.

"Wow, that's a big bath tub!"

Jackson gets settled in his new house

Jackson's favorite place to sit was mommy's magazine basket...until she filled it with magazines!

I LOVE taking my bath. I get to play with my special bath toys and splash water all over and have a "bubble beard"

My daddy says it's never to early to learn to play guitar. I hold the strings for the chords I want and daddy strums the strings for me. The song I'm writing is called "Jackson's Jiggy Jive" It's sure to go platinum!!

"See, I told you I can pull myself up" (Jackson's nursery is still a work in progress, the paint is up, but the molding is still missing, but it will be really nice when we finish it for our little monkey)

Daddy and Jackson LOVE to take naps together. Could they be any more relaxed????

My Daddy is finally home!!!

My Daddy and I spent the day at Acadia National Park. We went hiking and had a picnic in the park. It was a great day.

Jackson and Daddy had lobster rolls for lunch while overlooking the ocean.

Our first Father's Day. I got my daddy a Swiss Army tool for snowboarding this winter in Maine. It is his new favorite sport. He liked it a whole bunch!
