Lots of new things to see and do

Jackson has been trying different foods, but fruit seems to be the biggest hit with him.
And he is now big enough for the swing at the park, we've been using our swing in our big tree at home, but this is much better because now he gets to play with all the other kiddos at the park.
Daddy's squadron had a family picnic and they had ponies for Jackson to ride on. What a treat!
This is Harriett Hippo, we've borrowed him from our friend Catherine, he is a walker/buggy to help us learn to steady ourselves better when we walk, but it's fun sometimes to just use the buggy part and let Daddy push us around.

Jackson's Anniversary Gift...

On September 1st we celebrated our five year anniversary. Yeah!! Jackson thought it would be sweet to give us a very special gift of his very own....he walked! He was just 9 months old on August 30th.

He took four steps right in a row, turned and looked at us both to say, "Did you see that?" He has been walking around ever since. He isn't totally sure of himself yet, but with each step he gains more confidence....now we REALLY have to baby proof. Pictures will be soon to follow.
