We're Still Alive!!!

Hello everyone.
I have to first apologize for the absence of our blog updates. The last post we made was at the end of April, right before Jackson and I went home to Indiana from Jacksonville to visit family before Josh came home from deployment. Well, once we were there we decided to extend our 2-week visit into a month visit since it seemed pointless to go back to Jax since Josh wasn't expected home until June. We finally went back to Florida the first week of June just in time to meet the movers to pack up our house on a Monday and Tuesday and by Wednesday we were outta there!!
The drive to our new home in Maine was VERY LONG!! Unfortunately, we were unable to meet Josh's plane coming in because they were able to come home a few days earlier than originally planned. Our family of three is finally back together though and everyone is doing well.
We spent the next two weeks getting moved into our new home here in Brunswick, Maine and then Josh was on leave for two weeks so we decided to take him to Indiana for a visit. Everyone was thrilled of course at the chance to see Jackson again for a few days. Now we are finally settled in here, leave is over, and we are getting back into our routine...thus the chance to update the blog.
As you probably expected Jackson has grown SO MUCH since the last pictures and updates were posted. He has been pulling himself up, crawling, standing on his own, babbling like a long-winded woman, eating all kinds of new foods, sleeping through the night, getting his bottom two teeth in and is on the verge of taking his first step (give it a week or two max). We are really getting to see his personality developing...such a treat!
He was 8 months on the 30th of July and is just too anxious to do everything right away....I kind of wish he would slow things down and stay little and more "baby-like", but I guess what they said would happen is happening.....my little baby boy is growing up!
I have posted TONS of pictures over the last couple of days/weeks, little by little trying to catch you up. I didn't just want to post very recent pictures, because then you would miss some great shots from the last couple of months that are just too cute not to share. The only thing is they probably won't post in the order they were taken, but you'll be able to figure out which ones are older vs. newer. Enjoy!!
